holy masquerade final body of work

process, development & installation

sketch development

These enlarged sketches were selected and taped together to form a triptych composition, which was then placed beneath transparent plastic sheeting and used as a template for the acrylic paintings. The process allowed the imagery to evolve from intimate sketchbook drawings into large-scale installation works inspired by Venice, spirituality, and stained-glass imagery.

installation & montage composition

Enlarged sketches were installed throughout the space in varying scales, creating immersive montage compositions that extended the atmosphere of the original triptych.

The final triptych installation on transparent plastic sheeting with acrylic paint was installed between pillared structures resembling the altar’s sacred churches in Venice and suspended against glass, enhancing the stained-glass effect and reinforcing the space's spiritual atmosphere.
